If your vehicle breaks down

We're there to come to your assistance. Every 2 km, a roadside emergency call box is connected to the Escota PC 24 hours a day. With your precise location, the operator can launch the intervention procedure best suited to the situation: Escota safety team, emergency services if necessary... Only garage owners who have been awarded the Motorway Operator's seal of approval for the skills and equipment they possess are permitted to intervene on the motorway.

What you should do in the event of a breakdown :

* Park on the hard shoulder, as far to the right as possible,
* Switch on your hazard warning lights or use your hazard warning triangle,
* Return to a roadside Emergency Call Box, while protecting yourself behind the crash barriers.
* Return to your vehicle after the call, remaining behind the crash barriers.

What you should not do in the event of a breakdown :

* Never cross the motorway for any reason,
* Do not attempt to stop another vehicle,
* Do not abandon your vehicle on the motorway for more than half an hour
* Use the right-hand-side doors to get in and out of your vehicle.

Price of motorway interventions

(*) Fixed price + Surcharge of 50% from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM every day, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

(1) Repairs at the site or at the closest service area.
* Work not exceeding 30 minutes

(2) Towing
* Including 5 km after the first exit from the motorway (for a garage chosen by the user)
* Including the total trip to the workshop of the approved repairer

* Time elapsed (in excess of 30 mins) per 1/4 hour slice
